Michel Junge, Managing Director of the Science Center phaeno in Wolfsburg and President of MINTaktiv, explains: “The MINTaktiv members are appalled by the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops in violation of international law and want to send a joint signal against this injustice. As institutions dedicated to enlightenment, education, scientific thinking, participation and democratic discourse, we cannot remain silent in the face of this aggression. The association expresses its solidarity and sympathy with the relevant institutions in Ukraine and pays tribute to all people – including those in Russia – who oppose this aggression.” To ensure that the money gets to where it is most urgently needed, the MINTaktiv members have decided to forward the donations directly to “Aktion Deutschland hilft”. This well-established alliance includes the Workers’ Welfare Association, Malteser Hilfsdienst, Johanniter and many other renowned aid organizations.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row enable_hue_rotation=”no” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” el_class=”full70″][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
