Science & Technology brings science directly to the learners! We travel to schools in the region with our Science Mobile and offer exciting science shows and interactive experimentation workshops. Our aim is to add variety to everyday lessons, enrich subject teaching and spark enthusiasm for science and technology. We appeal to children and young people from kindergarten to secondary school level and have been recognised as an extracurricular research centre by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs.
On site, school classes have the opportunity to discover physical topics in our edMINT workshop series and experience sustainable learning in the process. Accompanied by our experts, there are exciting research opportunities and basic skills are promoted. Through scientific and technical approaches, the children develop creative solutions and learn to act sustainably and responsibly.
As a partner of the Kulturakademie Baden-Württemberg, we have been supporting talented pupils in grades six to eleven since 2010. In two creative weeks each year, they can develop their talents, learn from experts and gain inspiration for their future careers.
Every autumn, we organise the Science Days at Europa-Park in Rust – the largest science and MINT-festival in our region. Together with institutions from science, education and business, a fascinating and very diverse programme is put together. MINT topics are presented from different directions and angles and visitors gain insights into highly topical subjects and their research, with hands-on activities playing a very important role. You can try things out, experiment and tinker!
