The Dynamikum is the first and so far only science centre in Rhineland-Palatinate. As a hands-on museum, it invites its visitors to explore a wide range of scientific and technological phenomena themselves at interactive experiment stations over an area of 4,000 square metres and thus quench their thirst for knowledge in a playful way. The Dynamikum sets itself apart from comparable facilities with its consistent guiding principle of movement in a total of eight areas; the offer is aimed at children and young people, who are given new, spectacular access to the world of science in an ideal complement to school lessons, as well as adults. The Dynamikum also has rooms that can be used for lectures and school lessons. In the neighbouring Strecktal Park there are also outdoor exhibits on the subject of ‘Upwind’ and a disc golf course
