Dresden Transport Museum

For over 70 years, the Dresden Transport Museum has been presenting exhibits on the history of the individual transport sectors of rail transport, road transport, air transport and shipping on 5,000 square metres of exhibition space. In addition, there are annually changing special exhibitions on various aspects of the mobility of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Situated next to the Frauenkirche, the Transport Museum is one of Dresden’s most popular cultural institutions, attracting around 180,000 visitors every year.
